Coming here after a long day of work just hits the spot. Food was great to the beef being tender to Just enough seasoning. Small area but it has a cute disco ball for party time. My only complaint is the amount of rice compare to the beans portion. Just add a little bit more
The Amherst Bueno has been one of our favorite go to restaurants since it opened. Great food! You can taste the fresh ingredients. The recipes and cooking never waivers, it's always the same great, fresh taste. The staff, especially the chef's, are incredible at what they do! Always friendly and gracious staff. When I have a hankering for a chicken quesadilla, fresh beef tacos, or my favorite stuff jalapeños, I have to get it from Bueno!
A reliable burrito etc place with branches in Amherst and Northampton. They've been around for a while but the food is still pretty good!
Probably the best Mexican restaurant out there ... UMASS grad started his first restaurant here in Amherst in the 90's and it's still going strong. I've tried the chicken, steak, chipotle pork, spicy bbq pork, but I think the chipotle pork is the best with the spicy bbq pork a close second. And the Thai burrito is really good as well.
Great Mexican food, and decent prices to boot! You can eat in or take it home. Ambience is pretty non-existent, but that's ok.
Burritos are great. Wouldn't go any other way. Easy to customize what you get on it and they are usually very fully. Usually get takeout so I haven't sat in the restaurant. Online ordering makes ordering easy
The burritos at Bueno are some of the BEST I've ever had. I love the various flavors of chicken available, especially the chipotle chicken. The burritos are huge! I've gotten the burrito bowls and quesadillas as well and they're also so good. 10/10 would recommend.
I love bueno y sano. I've been coming here for years for burrito bowls and I've had great service and food every time I've gone. Their Amherst location is super close to the UMass campus, and it's a great spot to hang out with friends. I always suggest this spot to those looking for a casual bite, and encourage people to support this local business over a larger establishment like chipotle.
The only thing that could make Bueno Y Sano better would be for them to open in the Hartford area so I didn't have to drive so far for their amazing food. I first ate at Bueno in the 90s and it was amazing them and it's still amazing now. Today I had a bbq chicken and spinach burrito bowl which was massive, delicious and the perfect big lunch I was looking for today. Fresh, healthy, flavorful and fairly priced so you can't go wrong.
